On Thursday evening, Shed Dawg Mike was part of a conference call to interview Dolphins legend Nat Moore. Nat Moore was one of Dan Marino’s favorite targets. When Moore retired he had broken almost every team record of the Miami Dolphins. Nat would end his storied career with 510 receptions for 7,547 yards and 74 touchdowns. Nat was elected to the Pro Bowl in 1977, his best season, when he led the league in scoring with 12 touchdowns and 52 receptions. In 1984, the league voted him “Man of the Year,” an honor given on the player who gives outstanding service to his community. Moore also received the Byron Whizzer White Humanitarian Award in 1986; and in 1998, he created The Nat Moore Foundation, an organization designed to meet the needs of disadvantaged youth in the Miami-Dade County area. Nat continues to be active in broadcasting as well commenting for both the Dolphins and the University of Florida Gators.
