Week 17 - Dolphins at Ravens

Finally, after 15 long years and 898 kickoffs, the dolphins have a kick return for a TD. The wait is over and the man was Wes Welker. Like Red Sox fans waiting for a world series and Maple Leafs fans waiting for a Stanley Cup, the DAWGS have been hoping during every kickoff of every game that they just run one back. As we go back through the years the names fly by such as Irving Spikes, OJ McDuffie, Albert Johnson, John Avery, Brock Marion, Travis Minor, Lamont Brightful…and the list goes on and on and stops at one small man: Wesley Welker. 1 kickoff and 95 yards later and Welker is the first dolphin to return for a TD since Marc Logan did it in 1989 against Houston. Dolphin legends such as Mercury Morris and Fulton Walker can breathe a sigh of relief…..the dolphins have a kick return for a touchdown. But, they still lost the game and finish 4-12. Bring on the #2 pick baby whoooooooooo!!!
